NATIONAL BEST PRINCIPAL AND BEST TEACHER AWARD FOR PROMOTING VALUE EDUCATION
Best Principal award of 2016 for Sister Bessie Leon
As a part of our effort to promote value education the Universal Solidarity Movement has instituted two awards at the national level to motivate the principals and teachers who work for making education value based. On 5th September, the Teacher’s Day, the USM organizes a special meeting to honour an outstanding principal and a teacher from any part of the country. The award consists of a citation and certificate besides a cheque of Rs.10,001/-.
The Best Teacher and Best Principal awards were instituted in 2007 to honour the memory of Sr. Louise Josephine, a committed and selfless teacher who passionately promoted value education in schools.
